P-mini
Phase 0: P-mini o1
The physical machine of OKZOO’s AIoT network.
P-mini o1, short for Physical Mini Operating System 1, is the first AIoT machine powering OKZOO’s physical network of environmental data. Micro sensor nodes within the device tracks crucial environmental data including air quality, noise pollution, and CO2 levels among many other data sets, contributing to the world’s first urban-scale and street-level decentralized environmental data network.
P-mini o1s are portable physical machines that fit in your pocket, smaller than a typical mobile phone. Your virtual pets from the OKZOO V2 AI application appears on the front screen of the device, adjusting its behavior based on the environmental data you collect. For example, if the humidity, noise pollution, and air quality levels of your environment are ideal, the pet will appear happy, relaxed, and comfortable. However, if these metrics are beyond the norm, the pets will appear to be uncomfortable, angry, moody, and sometimes, even sad.
As mentioned above, what sets OKZOO’s P-mini devices apart from other DePin devices are the advanced micro sensors and the smooth animations on the device. Coding pixelized animations in AIoT devices present challenges that require significant renditions of animations and trial and error. The interactive capabilities of P-mini o1 are possible through advanced motion sensors that detect hand movements within the holographic field, enabling petting, feeding, and playing through natural gestures. Touch sensors around the projection area register different interactions—gentle strokes translate to petting while quick taps initiate games. These physical interactions synchronize with your OKZOO account in real-time, affecting pet metrics just as they would in-game.
You can feed your holographic pet to increase its fullness meter or play catch to boost its happiness. Environmental sensors detect real-world conditions, prompting your pet to seek shelter under your hand during rain or perform energetic animations on sunny days. The device's AIoT learning capability continuously refines its understanding of your interaction preferences, becoming more intuitive over time.
Despite its sophisticated capabilities, the OK-mini maintains remarkable portability with pocket-sized dimensions that easily fit in pockets or bags. Its durable aluminum-polymer composite shell protects sensitive components while providing a premium feel. Battery life provides extended projection time, with an ultra-low power standby mode for quick activation. The magnetic charging base doubles as a display stand, keeping your pet visible while recharging. AIoT-powered energy management monitors usage patterns and optimizes power consumption to maximize battery life based on your individual usage habits.
Some key features of P-mini include:
- Companion Camera: A built-in camera allows your pet to "see" and respond to your real-world environment. Show a colorful object, and your pet might approach curiously or display preferences based on its personality traits.
- Portal Mode: This feature creates the illusion of your pet peering into your world from their own dimension—peeking out from a portal, waving, then disappearing only to reappear from another angle moments later.
- Social Projection: When two devices are near each other, pets can interact in shared holographic space, playing games or socializing based on their established relationship. AIoT-enabled device-to-device communication allows pets to recognize familiar companions and develop their social relationships over time.
- Ambient Presence: In this power-saving mode, your pet appears smaller and less active but remains present throughout your day, occasionally performing small animations or responding to environmental changes.
The OK-mini represents a revolutionary step forward in digital companionship, bridging virtual relationships with physical presence to make your OKZOO experience feel genuinely alive in a whole new dimension, all the while collecting crucial environmental data that can be used by real-world AI applications to cater to potentially billions of users and their personal environmental data necessities.
